      Hi Becksblowup,

I was in UCC for almost 8 years.
4 for the undergraduate BSc degree and almost another 4 for the PhD degree.

Undergrad degrees are fixed in length at either 3 or 4 but research degrees can take more or less depending on how well your research goes.

I did 5 year Integrated Master’s degree in Chemistry from University of Hyderabad in India. Integrated Masters is 3 years of Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Master’s degree in the field chosen. These 5 years also include one year project work.
After that, I joined Trinity College Dublin in April 2012 for PhD. Since it is a 4 year PhD program, I should hopefully finish in April 2016.
