• Question: If there was no food or water what chemical substances would humans need in their intake???

      Apparently dogs can see some colours, there was an article published about this last year, very interesting, i’m posting the link here if you want to have a read http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2374872/Dogs-CAN-colour-Scientists-dispel-myth-canines-black-white.html it says that while dogs have predominately 2 types of receptors in the eyes, they can have some very limited recognition of colours too!

      If there was no food or water we’d die.

      We can use an entire range of things as food – but we can’t digest grass or wood (or anything based on cellulose) at all.

      without water we’d die in 2-3 days (some people have made it to 8 days), but we can go without food for a lot longer – as we begin to use our fat and then our protein as food once the glucose is gone from our system.
