Very good question! We know a lot about the normal matter in the universe, mostly hydrogen and helium, but what makes up the rest is a mystery. Astronomers believe the rest is partially dark matter (matter we just cannot see) and mostly “dark energy”. Dark energy is a real question mark and really is just a name at this point, there’s still a lot to discover in the universe!
