• Question: Do you need to be able to speak loads of different languages to become a scientist?

      Hi explosive! No no, in fact you only need to speak English because English is the adopted language in all international conferences and scientific papers for international audiences. I do speak Italian (I’m Italian!) and many scientists have their own mother-tongue but they have to learn English if they want their work to be known outside their country!
